Sydenham Street United Church, constructed in 1852, is a downtown church
and city landmark. Located in historic Kingston, Ontario, we are a part of the
United Church of Canada. The congregation, founded in 1811, was one of the
first Methodist congregations in Upper Canada. are an Affirming Congregation. Following the example of Christ, we are committed to creating a just community which welcomes people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, ethnic origins, political beliefs, economic circumstances and differing ability and challenges.
