Sydenham Street United Church, constructed in 1852, is a downtown church and city landmark. Located in historic Kingston, Ontario, we are a part of the United Church of Canada. The congregation, founded in 1811, was one of the first Methodist congregations in Upper Canada.

The work of the congregation is undertaken through a committee system and regular quarterly congregational meetings. Outreach is a high priority both in volunteer time and financial support.

We, the people of Sydenham Street United Church
are an Affirming Congregation.
Following the example of Christ,
we are committed to creating a just community which welcomes people of all ages, races, genders, sexual orientations, ethnic origins, political beliefs, economic circumstances and differing ability and challenges.

If you are in our vicinity, come and worship with us. You will be warmly welcomed.
